Naperville Riverwalk Tiny Wedding Photoshoot During COVID
This is the story of Nichole and Eric, they were so in love and wanted to get married. They had an idea of what they would have liked to do for their wedding. However, this crazy pandemic hit and they had to reassess their plans like millions of other couples in the world. Lucky for me, the new plans included a photographer for their elopement at the Naperville Riverwalk.
They arrived at the Naperville Riverwalk, Nichole dressed in her beautiful gown with a lace see through front and Eric in his suit.
Their officiant showed up but before we could start the ceremony, they wanted to call their families so they could be part of their union. Both Nichole and Eric had their person to witness their nuptials in person as well. There were laughters and tears while they surprised their families through Facetime. After that, there were a little bit more tears and laughters, as we all stood on the Naperville Riverwalk and witnessed them get married and express their love for each other. I photographed every little detail I saw making sure they remembered the day as it was so important and honestly, pretty epic for them to get married during a pandemic.
I took the happy married couple along with their bridal party and walked around the Naperville Riverwalk to take some bridals. It was a great day for a tiny wedding!
It wouldn’t be a COVID wedding with out MASKS, yes, I think that besides the bride and groom being so cool, masks are what made this tiny wedding EPIC!
I do not shoot weddings, as a matter of fact, I removed all packages from my website a long time ago. However, once in a while a couple will reach out needing someone to care for their tiny wedding as if it were a huge one. These I love, to me, tiny weddings and elopements hold a special place in my heart. They’re magical.
