St. James Farm Fall Mini Session | Lennie Family
As a lifestyle photographer I have the privilege of capturing precious family moments against the stunning backdrop of our local landscapes. I had the pleasure photographying the lovely Lennie family for a mini photoshoot at one of my favorite spots EVER! St. James Farm Forest Preserve in Winfield, Illinois. Yes, again.
Vanessa, the heartwarming matriarch of the family, reached out to me for a mini session. Joining her were her husband, Mike, and their two adorable boys, Hunter and Wyatt. From the moment we met, their warmth and affection for each other was noticeable, promising a session filled with love and lots of smiles.
On that fall day, the sunlight filtering through the trees cast a golden glow over the forest preserve, providing the perfect setting for our shoot. The boys, bubbling with energy and mischief, brought an infectious joy to the session. Their genuine smiles and playful antics made for some truly heartwarming captures.
Vanessa radiated maternal love as she interacted with her sons, cherishing each hug and laughter shared between them. And Mike was actively engaged in every moment, his love for his family shining through in every frame.
As the session drew to a close, I made sure to capture a portrait of Vanessa and Mike, a testament to their enduring love and partnership. Because, after all, family photography also entails capturing individual moments of the parents.
