William Back to School // DuPage County IL Children Photographer

Well, summer is here and I thought I should write this blog since the photo session took place at the beginning of the school year, last year. *insert Homer Simpson Doh gif here*

I’ve known Aimee and William for quite some time now, and I was super excited when Aimee asked me if I could get some shots of William before the school year started. Helllssss yes! I was specially excited when she wanted some pictures at an awesome book store called The Book Cellar. William is still young but believe me, he loves himself a good read. He’s one of the smartest kids I know and he’s also a foodie, which has nothing to do with anything but I just thought of it and we should have gotten some shots at his favorite restaurant. Next time.

I know this was a back to school shoot but I wanted to get some of mom by herself, lets face it, moms don’t get in the camera often. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, get in there!

I just love how creative these shots were. Of course I had awesome inspiration surrounding me and two book worms who were willing to deal with my shenanigans. *Disclaimer, we were quiet during this shoot, no books were harmed in any way and we got some jealous looks. HA!

I think this is a great and different idea to do with your kids before they start the chaos that is the school year. Why not capture these moments every year and have them to look back on.
